Work experience
Your business can play an important part in developing the skills needed within your sector – skills that will help to ensure its continued success.
Bromley College has a large talent pool of students studying recognised courses relevant to your sector. We encourage the students to gain practical work experience alongside their study to develop their skills and competences further. We are always looking to work in partnership with businesses to offer our students opportunities for work experience, placements and internships.
Work experience, placements and internships can take many different formats to suit the needs of your business. Examples include:
- one day a week
- a two-week block placement
- sessional vacancies
- a summer internship
- work trials with progression to employment and apprenticeship
These opportunities can either be paid or unpaid. This is a decision for your business to make, though we can advise and guide you on this.
